Our Story
As a mother of two girls and a clinical psychologist who has supported women through various life stages, I intimately understand the challenges and joys of motherhood.
When I became a mom, I experienced a gap in my own life and in those of my clients…there were no beautifully crafted products to validate the experience of motherhood, that were easily accessible, provided support, and honestly just didn’t take much time!
Our lives as mothers are full, complex, and far too often the self is neglected. Each item designed has been with the intention to offer a bite-sized support for mamas.
I am a woman who is also a mother
My motherhood journey
When my first child was born, I think like so many mothers I was thrown into an experience that had no words to explain it, I had no framework to understand it, and I had no real concept about what was happening for me.
I was a woman who held multiple degrees, had planned and intentionally got pregnant, was in a marriage to a man that couldn’t be more supportive or loving, and I had felt fully prepared for motherhood to be hard.

I prepared for birthing with a 6-week course of hypnobirthing classes that my partner attended with me, we converted a closet in our tiny 1-bedroom apartment into a baby space (really just a corner for me to nest in), I was in therapy, I grieved losing my child-free life, and I felt like I had no veil over my eyes that this was going to be all rainbows and unicorns.
Yet still, and almost with a slow creep, I found myself in a terrain that was a cross between the biological, social, spiritual, and psychological.
There are so many books about preparing for pregnancy, all the doctors appointments while pregnant, all the classes, and all the shopping lists.
There are even more books about parenting, with all the different methods, course, schools of thoughts, and ways to parent.
When it came to being the Mother, understanding the process of Matrescence, there was so little.
And what I found is that either the texts and resources available were skewed towards to solely what is happening hormonally for us, the pelvic floor and other biological changes, or were very metaphysical and spiritual.
Here I am, a person that loves and believes in science, with a rich spiritual life and practice, love the idea of leading a more nature grounded life but struggle to be consistent in that, and simply did not have the brain capacity or time to read an abundance of books.
My intention with all of our products is to provide information, support, and validation for all women who are navigating the beautiful and brutal parts of motherhood.
Understanding that motherhood is the psychological and spiritual birth of a woman is the greatest story never told
